The goal:
An easy and efficient app to remind people to take medicine on correct time.so that people can use their time for more productivity.
Responsibilities:
Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, iterating on designs, determining information architecture and responsive website design, designed for multiple screen sizes(mobile phone, tablet & desktop).
Understanding the user
User research:
I conducted user interviews among the target user sample in which I understood that most interview participants facing really hard time to remember to take their medication on correct time. The feedback received through research made it very clear that users looking forward for an easy and efficient medication reminder app.

User journey map
I created user journey map of sarah’s experience, pain points and improvement opportunities
Ideation
Paper wireframes
I did a quick ideation exercise to come up with ideas for how to address gaps identified in the competitive audit and user pain points in mind.
Starting the design
Digital wireframes
After ideating and drafting paper wireframes,I created the initial designs for the reminds app.I included option for adding medicine easy access for scheduling reminder.
Low fidelity prototype
To prepare for usability testing , I created low fidelity prototype that connected the flow of adding medicine and scheduling reminder for medication.
Lo-fi
Usability study findings
1.Add medicine 2.Schedule 3.Calendar
Users want easy way Users had difficulty adding Users want more
to add medicine. multiple doses intuitive calendar
Refining the design
Mockups
1.Based on the insight from the usability studies,I applied option for adding multiple doses on same day.
2.Included additional design changes by adding a more easy and intuitive calendar.
Accessibility consideration
1.Screen readers 2.Visual design 3.Navigation
Clear labels for interactive elements Used different sized text Used navigation button
that can be read by screen readers. and different color for on the center for easy
best visual experience. screen transition.
Refined design
High fidelity prototype
High fidelity prototype followed the same user flow as low fidelity prototype, including design changes made after the usability study.
Responsive design
After user research and competitive audit I understood that use case scenario for website is completely different from dedicated mobile app. When the mobile app is designed for medication reminders ,track health ,appointments and prescriptions. The website educates users about their mission and solutions. Website focuses on how can they support people for social good example, Patient support, caregiver support, news & events and education & researches .

I used each screen’s design to ensure a cohesive and consistent experience across devices.
The design for screen size variation include mobile, tablet and desktop.I optimized the designs to fit specific user needs of each device and screen size.
Responsive mobile website
I created responsive website design how to appear on a mobile. In the current world majority of the people using mobile phone rather than other devices because of its convienience while traveling.

Takeaways
Impact What I learned
Users shared that the reminds app is really helpful I learned that even though the problem I was
and easy to use.One quote from peer feedback trying to solve was a big one. diligently going
was that “I’m looking forward to use this app in future , through each step of the design process and
it seems like really useful for people” aligning with specific user needs helped me
come up with solutions that were both feasible
and useful.
